Pre-Employment Program
Our Pre-Employment Program is designed to help individuals develop the life and work skills they need for future employment. The program covers areas such as:
Life skills and personal development
Work skills training
Social skills building
Educational support, including literacy programs
Recreation and leisure activities to promote a balanced lifestyle
This program allows participants to engage in community events, connect with peers, and prepare for a brighter, more independent future. We operate Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and transportation is provided for clients within the Gander area.

Group Employment Program
Through our Broadening Horizons Recycling Program, participants can gain real-world work experience in a supportive environment. This initiative includes:
Beverage container recycling and household electronics drop-off
Curbside collection of recyclables for Gander residents
Our program creates flexible employment opportunities tailored to individual needs, including full-time, part-time, or on-the-job training alongside the Pre-Employment Program. Not only do participants earn meaningful work experience, but they also make a positive impact on their community.

Eligibility
Our programs are open to adults with intellectual disabilities who are 18 years or older, are no longer in the school system, and are residents of Gander and surrounding areas. Potential clients undergo an assessment to ensure our programs are the right fit for their needs and abilities.
